Reports and commissions

Reports show what every job, tech and week really made. Commissions and tech settlement work out what each tech is owed. Reports are on the Team plan and up. Commissions and tech settlement are on Pro and up.

Open your reports

Open Reports from the menu. Pick the time period you want and how to break it down.

You can see jobs, revenue and open balances by:

At the top you'll see the big numbers for the period, like what was booked, how many jobs got done and the average ticket.

Questions reports answer

Pick one question a week and look it up. Over time you'll know your numbers without guessing.

Expenses

Log what you spend so the profit on each job is real, not just the revenue. A job that brought in $500 but needed $300 in parts is a very different job from one that needed $30.

Tech scorecard

The tech scorecard shows how each tech is doing: jobs done and money brought in. Use it for a fair, fact-based talk with each tech, not to guess.

Commissions and tech settlement

On the Pro plan and up, DispatchMind works out what each tech is owed from their jobs, parts and payments. No end-of-month spreadsheet.

How to run it:

  1. Open commissions and tech settlement.
  2. Pick the tech and the time period.
  3. Check the jobs that make up the total.
  4. Look over the total owed.
  5. Settle up with the tech.

Good habits:

Stuck jobs

Jobs that haven't moved in 60 days get flagged, so they're caught before they turn into lost money. On the Business plan, queues for stuck and unbilled jobs give you one place to clear them out.

Common questions

Why doesn't a job show up in revenue? Check that the job has an invoice and that the payment has been recorded.

Can I see reports on my phone? Yes. DispatchMind works in any browser and in the iPhone app.

Can the AI Dispatcher pull a number for me? Yes. Type or say something like "How much did we book last week?" See AI Dispatcher: AI built in.
