Moving software
DispatchMind runs a moving company from one place: calls and leads in, jobs on the schedule, the work on your team’s phones, then the invoice. Pick Moving when you sign up and it’s set up for your trade from the first screen. You can change any of it later.
A moving company juggles trucks, crews and two addresses on every job, and the price depends on what's actually in the house. DispatchMind books the estimate visit, puts the pickup and drop-off on the job, assigns a full crew with split pay, and gets the balance collected before the truck pulls away.
A typical moving job in DispatchMind
- A customer calls about a Local move and you book an Estimate visit on the calendar.
- At the walkthrough you build the estimate from your price book, adding Packing, and the customer signs it on their phone.
- On moving day the job has both the pickup and drop-off address, and the whole crew is assigned to the same job.
- The crew lead adds photos of furniture before loading and notes anything already damaged.
- The estimate turns into the invoice, the customer pays by card through your own Stripe account, and crew pay gets split automatically.
What moving owners tell us slows them down
Splitting pay across a crew
A crew on one job means several paychecks to work out. Put the whole crew on one job and DispatchMind splits crew pay from the job's money, so payday isn't a spreadsheet.
Prices that change on moving day
Customers forget the piano in the basement. Estimates come from your price book and get signed before the move, so when extra items show up you add them on the job and everyone sees the change.
Fights over damaged furniture
Without photos it's your word against theirs. Crews take pictures in the tech app at pickup and drop-off, notes go on the job, and the full history stays on the customer page.

Nellie knows the trade
Nellie is the assistant built into DispatchMind. On a moving account she knows how your customers talk and what to ask:
- Moving from where to where?
- How big is the place, and any stairs or elevator at each end?
- Any heavy items like a piano or safe?
- What date, and do they need packing?
What she treats as urgent: A lease or closing date that can’t move; Elevator reservation times at either building.
What she never does: Never quote a price the company hasn’t set; Never promise a crew size or arrival time the company hasn’t set.
Everything else
- Jobs move through four plain steps: Submitted, In progress, Pending, Done pending approval. Your trade’s own steps are color tags you can sort by.
- Estimates and invoices from your price book.
- A tech app for your team, with what each person may see set by you.
- Reports and commissions worked out from your own jobs.
- Bring your customers and jobs over from the system you use now.
Moving software: common questions
Can I put a whole crew on one moving job?
Yes. Assign several crew members to the same job and DispatchMind handles the crew pay split. Each mover sees the job in their app.
Does each job hold a pickup and a drop-off address?
Yes. Every move has both addresses on the job page, for local moves, long-distance moves and office moves.
Can I offer labor-only loading and unloading?
Yes. Labor only (load / unload) is its own job type with its own price book items. You can also run Single item jobs for one couch or one safe.
How do estimate visits work?
Book an Estimate visit like any job, build the estimate from your price book on site, and the customer approves and signs it. Then schedule the move and turn the estimate into the invoice when you're done.
Can I try DispatchMind for my moving company before paying?
