PestPac Alternative: DispatchMind

By the DispatchMind team · Updated 10/12/2026 · 5 min read

If you're looking for a PestPac alternative, the main difference is this: PestPac by WorkWave does not publish prices and is sold through a sales consultant, while DispatchMind lists every price and runs month to month. PestPac is built deep for pest control. DispatchMind covers 80+ trades, pest control included, and adds a built-in business phone and an AI dispatcher, Nellie, who answers calls and books visits.

The short version

PestPac is one of the best-known names in pest control software. It covers billing, scheduling, routing, CRM, marketing and accounting, and it adds analytics through Wavelytics. If you run a large pest operation with commercial accounts and multiple branches, it was built for you. For a smaller shop, the trade-off is cost you can't see up front, setup fees, and reviews that describe annual agreements that are hard to leave. DispatchMind publishes its prices, has a 14-day free trial with no card, and lets you cancel in the app.

Pricing

As of October 2026, PestPac's pricing page lists three plans, Small Business, Professional and Enterprise, with no prices. It says: "Speak with a consultant today for more information on pricing packages."

Because PestPac hides prices, here are third-party figures:

DispatchMind plans (published, monthly):

Worked example, small shop: 2 office people and 5 techs.

Contracts and getting out

PestPac's site does not publish its contract terms. Customer complaints on the Better Business Bureau describe annual agreements. One 2025 complaint says the company was "trying to charge us for a full years agreement" after asking to cancel. Another says WorkWave "would not release annual contract." A Capterra reviewer wrote they were told they had to pay "$1200 to get out of this contract." These are individual reports, not company policy, but they are worth asking about before you sign.

Questions to ask any vendor: How long is the term? Does it renew on its own? How much notice do you need? Can I export my data when I leave?

DispatchMind is month to month. You cancel in the app under Plan and billing. There's a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first paid charge, once per company.

Running the day

PestPac's strengths are routing and recurring service. DispatchMind also handles service plans and recurring jobs, routes, crews, and a dispatch board, calendar and map. Each job page shows the money up top. Estimates come with good/better/best options and e-signature, and card payments go through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you.

Where DispatchMind differs most is the phone. It has a built-in business number with calls, texts and recordings saved on the job. Nellie answers 24/7, books and moves visits on the real schedule, and checks with you before anything involving money. Call 844-8-NELLIE to hear her.
