DispatchMind vs VortechPro: Honest Comparison
VortechPro is a dispatch app for small trade teams like locksmiths, plumbers and HVAC. Its standout is tiered dispatch: top-tier techs get the job alert first. Software directories list it from $99 a month flat for 5 techs. DispatchMind is a fuller platform with a built-in phone, an AI dispatcher, estimates, inventory with truck stock and sub settlement, priced from $79 a month. Pick VortechPro for simple, fast tiered dispatch. Pick DispatchMind if you want to run the whole shop from one account.
One note up front. We couldn't find an official VortechPro website. Everything below comes from its listings on Capterra and GetApp as of October 2026. Check their listing for current pricing.
What VortechPro is
The GetApp listing describes it as "field service dispatch with tiered tech routing and scheduling." The listings name Vortech Technologies as the vendor and say it's for home service businesses including locksmiths, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, pest control, appliance repair and cleaning.
What it does, per the listings:
- Tiered dispatch. Techs are ranked Platinum, Gold or Silver. Top-tier techs are alerted first, and an alert expires after 30 seconds before passing to the next tier.
- Specialist jobs. Managers can limit complex or high-value jobs to designated techs.
- Accept or reject. Techs accept or reject jobs on mobile, and accepted jobs include navigation. Immediate and scheduled dispatch are both supported.
- GPS. Tech locations update every three seconds on a map for the office.
- Pay splits. Commission calculations use split settings per tech.
- Payments. Card payments in the field through Stripe Connect, with funds going to the owner's Stripe account.
- Chat. Built-in messaging between office and techs.
- Reports. Revenue over custom periods, CSV export and earning reports for admins and techs.
One detail worth knowing: the listing says job photos are deleted after 30 days. If you need photo proof for disputes months later, ask about that.
Pricing and platforms
Capterra lists VortechPro from $99 a month for a company with 5 techs, plus $20 for each extra tech, flat rate. The listings show a free trial and a free plan, without details. Platforms listed: web, Android and iPhone/iPad. The language listed is English only. It had no user reviews yet when we checked.
DispatchMind, as of October 2026:
- Starter $79 a month, 2 office logins.
- Team $179, 5 logins, adds reports and automations.
- Pro $299, 10 logins, adds commissions and sub settlement, tech access levels, collections and several brands from one account.

- Extra office login $29 a month. Tech app login $15 a month.
- Yearly billing gives 2 months free. Month to month, cancel any time. 14-day free trial, no card. 30-day money-back on the first charge.
For a small crew that only needs dispatch, VortechPro's flat price is hard to argue with.

Where VortechPro does well
If your shop lives on fast dispatch, the tier system is a smart idea. Your best techs see the job first, and nothing sits waiting longer than 30 seconds per tier. Specialist-only jobs keep a high-value call from going to a new guy. The pay split per tech and Stripe payments cover the basics a small locksmith or plumbing crew needs. And it's on Android today.
Where DispatchMind does well
DispatchMind is built to run the whole shop, not just send out jobs:
- The phone. Business phone and texting, a dialer that rings up to 5 people at once, voicemail drops, call recordings and call masking for techs. Call tracking by ad source shows calls, answered and missed, booked and revenue per source.
- Nellie and Sam. Nellie answers 24/7, books and moves jobs in your real schedule and speaks 18 languages. Sam is an AI line techs call from the job. $149 each, or $249 for both.
- Sub settlement. Commissions and subcontractor settlement, so you know who's owed what. See how to pay subcontractor technicians.
- Stock and proof. Truck stock that comes off the truck when you approve the closing, checklists that must be done before the closing, and photos, signature and AI receipt reading on every closing.
- Tech app. Works with no signal and sends when signal returns. You set each tech's access level. Time clock with overtime and a payroll spreadsheet.
- Selling. Estimates from your price book, good/better/best proposals, pay over time (Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay) through your own Stripe, review requests and a customer portal.
The honest catch: DispatchMind is new too, with few public reviews. Neither tool has the review history of an older product. If that matters, look at Jobber alternatives or field service software for small business.
Who should pick which
Pick VortechPro if you're a small crew that needs tiered dispatch, GPS and Stripe at a flat price and not much else.
Pick DispatchMind if you're an owner-led shop with 1 to 50 techs and you want the phone, an AI dispatcher, inventory, estimates and sub settlement in one account with published prices.
