WEX Field Service Management vs DispatchMind

By the DispatchMind team · Updated 10/16/2026 · 5 min read

WEX sells a field service management product. WEX Field Service Management is the old Payzerware, which WEX agreed to buy in a deal announced 10/26/2023. It's built for HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops and ties into WEX payments, financing and fuel cards. A Ferguson partner page lists it from $439 a month. DispatchMind starts at $79 a month with a built-in phone and AI dispatcher. If your trucks already run on WEX cards, WEX is worth a look. If you want lower, published pricing and month-to-month terms, DispatchMind is the better fit.

What WEX Field Service Management is

WEX is best known for fleet and fuel cards. In 2023 it announced it was buying Payzer, a cloud field service software company serving small HVAC, plumbing and roofing businesses. The product is now sold as WEX Field Service Management, and the iPhone app is still published by Payzer, LLC.

WEX's own page calls it an all-in-one platform for HVAC, plumbing and electrical. Here's what we could confirm across WEX, Ferguson, the App Store and GetApp:

Pricing

WEX's own page doesn't show a price. It asks you to schedule a free demo.

A Ferguson page lists the full WEX FSM at $439 a month, and a payments-only tier at $69 a month that's waived above $25,000 a month in volume. Capterra lists it as "contact for pricing" with unlimited users, shows no free trial and lists a free version without details. Check their site for current pricing.

Some Capterra reviews mention price increases during a contract and being locked in. Ask about renewal and price-change terms before you sign.

Where WEX does well

The WEX tie-in is the real draw. If your fleet already runs on WEX cards and you take payments through them, having fuel, payments and job software from one company is simpler. The Ferguson catalog link helps if Ferguson is your supply house. It has been around for years as Payzerware, so it has a review history. GetApp shows 4.6 from 64 reviews. On the App Store it's 4.0 from 267 ratings, and some reviewers say it's slow.

Who should pick which

Pick WEX Field Service Management if you're an HVAC or plumbing shop already deep in WEX cards and Ferguson, and you want it all from one vendor.

Pick DispatchMind if you're an owner-led shop with 1 to 50 techs and you want published prices, no contract, and the phone, AI dispatcher and sub settlement in one account. Comparing more options? See DispatchMind vs ServiceTitan and field service software for small business.
