How to Cancel FieldEdge: Notice, Fees and Your Data

By the DispatchMind team · Updated 10/12/2026 · 6 min read

To cancel FieldEdge, contact FieldEdge directly by phone at 800.226.7529 or through its support portal, and send written notice of termination. As of October 2026 we could not find a public self-serve cancel button or a public "how to cancel" help article, so plan on talking to a person. Under the Xplor US SaaS Terms that FieldEdge links to, the agreement renews for 12-month periods unless you give written notice at least 60 days before the current period ends, and leaving early can trigger an early termination fee.

One rule before anything else: your signed order form or contract overrides the public terms. If yours says something different from this page, yours wins. Check FieldEdge's site and terms for current details.

Before you cancel: a checklist

Step by step

  1. Read your order form. It controls your term, renewal date and any special terms you negotiated.
  2. Call or open a ticket. Phone 800.226.7529, or use the FieldEdge support portal linked from fieldedge.com/contact. Say you want to cancel and ask for the exact steps and the right notice address for your account.
  3. Send written notice. The Xplor terms (§15.2) say notices must be in writing, by hand, recorded or special delivery, or by email to the address in your order form, with a copy to legal@xplortechnologies.com. Ask support to confirm the address before you send.
  4. Get a confirmation in writing. Save the email or letter, the date sent and any ticket number.
  5. Ask what you'll owe. Ask for your final billing date, any early termination fee, and the date your access ends.
  6. Pull your data before that date (see below).

Notice periods, refunds and contracts

These points come from the Xplor US SaaS Terms (v1.2), the terms FieldEdge's legal page links to, checked 10/12/2026.

Topic What the terms say
Renewal §2.2: after the initial period, the agreement renews automatically for 12-month periods
Notice §2.2: written notice at least 60 days before the period ends
Leaving early §13.4: an early termination fee equal to the monthly fees times the months left, on top of anything already owed
Price increases §2.3: at least 2 months' notice; if the increase is above CPI and you don't agree, you can terminate without penalty by written notice within 10 days
Your data §10.1.9: on expiry or termination, and on reasonable request, Xplor returns or deletes your personal data where reasonably practical

What this means in plain terms: if you miss the 60-day window, you're likely in for another 12 months. If you want out mid-term, expect to pay out the rest of the term unless your contract says otherwise. The CPI clause is the one exception worth knowing: if you get a price increase notice above CPI, the 10-day clock starts when you're notified.

Refunds are not spelled out as a general right in what we reviewed. Ask their support.

Get your data out

FieldEdge has no public export guide we could find. A third-party help page (ServiceTitan's, which may be out of date) describes these exports:

Screens change, so confirm with FieldEdge support. Also ask about price book, service agreements, attachments and photos. If something won't export, ask whether Xplor will return it on request under the data clause, and what that costs. Do this while you still have access.

Keep your phone number

We did not find public FieldEdge information on porting phone numbers out. Ask their support whether any of your numbers are held by FieldEdge or Xplor, and if so, how to get the account number and PIN your new carrier will need. The safe general rule: start the port at the new provider first, and don't cancel the old account until the port is done. Cancel first and you can lose the number.

What happens after you cancel

Ask their support for the exact date your logins stop working. Under §10.1.9, Xplor returns or deletes your personal data on reasonable request after termination, and the terms set no fixed deadline for that. Don't count on getting back in later. Keep your final invoice, your written notice and your confirmation together in one folder.

If you use FieldEdge's payment processing (the terms reference a Stripe connected account), check that all payouts have landed and download your year-end payment records.

Questions

Can I cancel FieldEdge online?

As of October 2026 we found no public self-serve cancel option or cancel help article. Call 800.226.7529 or use the support portal, and send written notice as your order form directs.

How much notice does FieldEdge need?

Under §2.2 of the Xplor US SaaS Terms, written notice at least 60 days before your current period ends. Your order form may say something different, and it wins.

Is there a FieldEdge early termination fee?

Under §13.4, yes: the monthly fees times the months left in the period. Ask their support for your exact number before you decide.

Can I leave FieldEdge if my price goes up?

Under §2.3, if an increase is above CPI and you don't accept it, you can terminate without penalty by written notice within 10 days of being notified.
