Lawn care software
DispatchMind runs a lawn care company from one place: calls and leads in, jobs on the schedule, the work on your team’s phones, then the invoice. Pick Lawn care when you sign up and it’s set up for your trade from the first screen. You can change any of it later.
Lawn care lives and dies on the route. Same yards, same days, every week, plus fertilizing and weed control rounds on top. DispatchMind creates every visit ahead of time, lines them up in driving order, lets you push a rained-out day, and bills each property without you rebuilding the week.
A typical lawn care job in DispatchMind
- A homeowner signs up for weekly mowing on your booking page and you set the service day.
- DispatchMind creates the visits ahead of time and drops the yard into that day's route in driving order.
- The tech pulls up the route on the app, mows, and adds a note like gate code changed or dog in the yard.
- When a fertilizing or aeration round comes up, it's added to the same property as its own job type.
- Done visits get tagged Ready to invoice and the office bills them, with reminders on anything unpaid.
What lawn care owners tell us slows them down
Rain wrecks the whole week
One wet Tuesday pushes every yard back. Move or skip a single visit, or slide the day, and the rest of the plan stays put so you're not rebuilding the schedule from scratch.
Routes that zigzag across town
Crews burn gas when the stops are in the order people signed up. Route mode puts each day's yards in driving order so the truck goes one direction.
Treatment rounds getting missed
Mowing is weekly but fertilizing and weed control are on their own clock. Set them up as their own recurring plans on the same customer, and the visits show up when they're due instead of when someone remembers.

Nellie knows the trade
Nellie is the assistant built into DispatchMind. On a lawn care account she knows how your customers talk and what to ask:
- About how big is the lawn? Front, back or both?
- One time or a regular schedule?
- Gate code or pets?
- The address?
What she treats as urgent: A gate left open or a pet got out: call the customer right away; An HOA or city notice with a deadline.
What she never does: Never quote a price the company hasn’t set; Never say a product is safe for kids or pets: the company decides what to tell them.
Everything else
- Jobs move through four plain steps: Submitted, In progress, Pending, Done pending approval. Your trade’s own steps are color tags you can sort by.
- Estimates and invoices from your price book.
- A tech app for your team, with what each person may see set by you.
- Reports and commissions worked out from your own jobs.
- Bring your customers and jobs over from the system you use now.
Lawn care software: common questions
Can I set up weekly and every-two-weeks mowing on the same route?
Yes. Each property gets its own plan, weekly or every 2 weeks, with its service day. The visits are created ahead of time and show up on the route for that day.
What happens when it rains and we can't mow?
Skip or move that one visit and the plan keeps going. You can also push the day and the stops come with it.
Can I add aeration or overseeding to a regular mowing customer?
Yes. Add it as its own job on the same customer, or as a yearly plan if they want it every fall. It all shows on their customer page history.
Can my crew see gate codes and notes for each yard?
Yes. Notes, photos and instructions live on the customer and job page. The tech sees them on the app when they pull up the stop.
Can I try DispatchMind for my lawn care company before paying?
Yes. You get a 14-day free trial with every feature turned on, Nellie included, and no card needed. If it fits, you stay month to month. If not, you walk away.
